Where do the tours depart from?
Our primary departure point is Blackburn Point in Osprey, but we also offer departures from several other convenient locations including from Nora Patterson Bay Island Park (Siesta Key), Centennial Park Boat Ramp (Downtown Sarasota). Availability may vary based on tide, weather, and trip type. You will receive detailed directions and parking information after reservation.
How far in advance should I book my tour?
What will we see on the tour?
Expect to see Sarasota’s scenic coastline, native birds, and most likely dolphins, and manatees.
Do I need to book in advance?
Advance booking is recommended but feel free to call us for last-minute availability!
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled tour, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable unless cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions.
What should I bring?
We recommend: Reef-safe sunscreen (no spray sunscreen, it damages our upholstery and harms marine life), Sunglasses and hat, Towels and swimsuit, Snacks and drinks (alcohol allowed for guests 21+), Camera or Phone for photos. Try to avoid overpacking, as storage space is limited.
Is smoking allowed on the boat?
No, smoking is not permitted on board.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome.
Are your charters family-friendly?
Yes! Our private tours are great for all ages. We offer fun and safe experiences that everyone in the family can enjoy.
Is the boat accessible for guests with limited mobility?
Please note that there is no ramp access to the boat. If you have mobility issues and cannot climb a short ladder, this boat may not be a good choice, please call with questions.
What if the weather is bad?
If conditions are unsafe on the day of the trip, we will contact you to reschedule or offer a full refund.
Can we swim or snorkel during the tour?
Absolutely! Many tours include a stop at a sandbar or beach where you can swim, snorkel, or just relax. Let us know what you’d like to do!
Are the tours private?
Yes. All charters are 100% private, meaning it’s just your group and our licensed captain.
Is tipping the captain expected?
Tips are not required but always appreciated. If you enjoyed your experience, a typical gratuity ranges from 15-20% and is a great way to show your appreciation for the captain’s hard work and hospitality.
What payment methods do you accept?
